Logo, Album Art, and Brand Direction for Hit Off-Broadway Show

Drag: The Musical is an original theatrical production that blends drag performance with punk- and rock-inspired music, following the story of two rival drag bars battling for survival. The show originally premiered in Los Angeles in 2022 and later transferred to a successful Off-Broadway run at New World Stages in New York in 2024. I collaborated with the production team to develop the foundational brand identity and promotional ecosystem, designing the primary show logo, the iconic “slaybill,” custom merch, posters, social graphics, show tickets, and digital promo assets, all rooted in a bold, punk-inspired visual language. I also designed the album cover and full gatefold album packaging for the cast recording, extending the show’s identity into the music itself. When the production moved Off-Broadway, the show continued to use my established branding while expanding its marketing efforts with a larger team brought on to support additional design needs, demonstrating the scalability and longevity of the original visual system.
